NEW 2017 Workshops for Student Filmmakers
Each Spring the Cameo Cinema offers free, hands on workshops to give students an intensive introduction to the craft of filmmaking. These workshops are designed to help you bring your vision to the big screen for the Student Film Competition. Workshops are open to Napa County students, aged 13 to 18 with the permission of their parent or guardian.
WORKSHOPS ARE FREE, BUT LIMITED TO 20 STUDENTS EACH

ANAHID NAZARIAN
Noted Film Producer Anahid Nazarian has worked
with Francis Ford Coppola for over thirty years. She
began as a research assistant and a script supervisor.
Also an accomplished Producer at American Zoetrope,
she is best known for her work on Apocalypse
Now (1979), The Godfather: Part III (1990)
and Dracula (1992)
MASA TSUYUKI
After co-directing and producing a feature-length
documentary, Masa Tsuyuki worked for Francis
Coppola as a production assistant, which led to
working full-time for Coppola’s American Zoetrope
production company. For the last 15 years, Masa
has traveled around the world working on Coppola’s
films as a technical producer, while independently
producing and directing music videos and commercials.
COOPER KENWARD
Experienced in film and video production, Cooper
is the Editor for Avocados & Coconuts Productions
in San Francisco. They have a large commercial
client base and their documentary “A Film About
Coffee,” was nominated for a James Beard Award.
His independent directing credits include spots
for Snakebite Beer and music videos featuring San
Francisco indie bands.
